A New Innovation in Indoor Air Quality

Mar 16, 2024

Air pollution is the world's largest single environmental health risk. And, according to the World Health Organization (WHO), 92% of the world's population breathes polluted air. Considering my house is situated between two SEPTA bus stops, I imagine the fumes from idling buses are doing no favors to our already asthmatic household.

That's why one of the first recommendations I (as well as the EPA) make for families who want to live a healthier lifestyle is to invest in a portable, high-end air purifier.

Up until now, I have had basic HEPA filtration systems in every room of my house. In fact, I originally purchased them when we were in the process of getting our dog, an American Hairless Terrier, because with my allergies, I was concerned about the dander from even a hairless pet!

But I was recently introduced to Intellipure Inc., a creator of intelligent, air purity products that provide the highest performance, utilizing state of the art smart technologies. Intellipure air purity products are at the forefront of the industry in terms of energy efficiency, measuring ultrafine particle effectiveness, micro-organism capture and reduction of odors and volatile organic compounds in the air.

My new Intellipure Ultrafine 468 is combating all three pollutant categories - micro-organisms, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and particles. It captures 99% of airborne particles down to .007 microns in size! It's super quiet (though I love the gentle white noise) and can create noticeable changes in breathing, snoring, asthma, allergies, and general quality of life.

So what does this thing cost? A lot. $999 to be exact. But here's where it holds its value:

Having a hardcore air filtration system like this makes me feel a bit less panicky when my dad refuses to take off his shoes or a bus idles outside my house for 15 minutes. Sure, my air purifier costs more than my computer, but I can't argue with the investment to breathe easier as we continue to fight for clean air for everyone with organizations like Clean Air Moms Action.
